Choosing the print format is one of the most important decisions when preparing a photo booth experience. The dimensions affect the number of poses, the space available for artwork, printing costs and the way guests will keep or display their souvenir.

Popular options include a standard 10×15 print, a 5×15 photo strip and a Polaroid-style layout. Each format creates a different appearance.

Standard 10×15 print

A 10×15 print provides a generous area for photographs and design elements. It can feature one large photograph or a composition containing several poses.

It is a versatile choice for birthdays, graduations, children’s parties and corporate events. There is also sufficient space for names, dates, logos and messages.

5×15 photo strip

A photo strip normally contains a vertical sequence of images. Its appearance is associated with traditional photo booths and creates a playful, informal souvenir.

Depending on the printer configuration, one 10×15 sheet may be divided into two strips, allowing two copies of the same session to be produced.

Polaroid-style print

A Polaroid-style layout features a larger space beneath the photograph, inspired by traditional instant photography. This area may contain names, dates, a logo or a short message.

It works particularly well for weddings, vintage themes and celebrations seeking a more delicate design.

What should you consider?

  • Number of photographs in each session.
  • Space required for the event branding.
  • Printer model and configuration.
  • Style of the event décor.
  • Guest profile.
  • Expected number of prints.
